Superbowl Performances

Posted on: February 4, 2013

Beyoncé’s 13-minute set came just days after she admitted using a backing track when she performed the National Anthem at President Obama’s inauguration.

She pulled out all the stops, putting her recent lip-synching controversy behind her as she sang hit after hit, complete with slick dance routines. Fans were also treated to a Destiny’s Child reunion, as Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams popped up from below the stage to sing “Bootylicious” and “Independent Woman”.

Beyoncé was not the only big star to perform at the Super Bowl; Alicia Keys sang the National Anthem before the game and Jennifer Hudson led students from Sandy Hook Elementary School in a rendition of “America the Beautiful”.
