Ah the Met Gala. This year the them was Punk: Chaos to Couture in honour if the new exhibition opening and we guess the stars came out a bit more punked out than usual, it was still more Oscar night than Squat show but what else would we expect? Either way there were some awesome hits and we want to show you how to get some of our favourite looks from celebs that night!

We’re not sure how we feel about Alicia Keys outfit but her hair was bang on trend. We love she rocked her short do combed over to one side with a flash of deep pink color at the ends to match the tones in her gown. FLAWLESS. Two colour hair, dip dyed ends and short dos with attitude are just SO in fashion right now. You can get this look yourself with our Robyn wig, brushed over with a bit of pink hair chalk at the ends for a pop of colour that won’t damage the wig itself! Perfect!

Beyonce surely is the Queen at the moment. She’s on an amazing tour, she’s about to release an album that’s sure to be flawless and she’s channelled all this awesome energy into her Met Gala ensemble. She was hard to miss in this dramatic and statement piece with the matching boots. We love her hair! The two tone hair is deep brown and then golden echoing the colour of her hair throughout. You can get this look from our Coral wig in dip dye. Simple, high quality and easy to recreate, you could look as good as the Queen herself in seconds.

"PUNK: Chaos To Couture" Costume Institute Gala

We love Chanel Iman’s style SO much here at Sleek and her black and white gown, whilst not very punk, was really on trend for summer. It’s all about monochrome don’t you know? Her hair is on point however, she added a dash of punk to her style with the baby pink dip dyed ends of her jet black hair. Dip dyeing the ends of your hair bright colours is the big trend for the summer and you can do this without the commitment with hair chalk. Try some in our Remy Couture Yaki Weave and you’ll look so much like Chanel Iman it’ll be awesome!

Joan Smalls is rocking ombre hair with her amazing black cut out gown. She looks stunning but still not very punk. Sweeping your hair over to one side really does give you instant drama and instant glamour and is the easy way to add sophistication to any look. Go for the deepest side part you can! For this look we’d suggest using Sleek’s Beyonce Wig in dip dye. Perfection! Lala Anthony also rocked the ombre hair. Who’s did you like more?
