You’ve mastered the regular braid now upgrade to the four-strand fishtail, and get some mega volume by adding some Viva extensions to really plump up your plait.  It’s all about the bigger the better with this style.
Here are some top tips to getting this look:
1)  Clip-in some hair extensions to really give your hair some pow ( if they’re a totally different color from your hair; an ombre fishtail braid would be stunning. The great thing here is you can be creative!) We’d suggest using the Sleek Viva range for this. It comes in dip dye so you can really get some colour popping in your braid.

2) A light dusting of volumizing and texturizing powder, or a spritz of sea salt spray, will remove the slip from pin-straight strands, which will help your hair seem thicker. You want a really matte texture to the hair to get this look right.

3)  After loosely braiding your hair down to the ends and securing it with a snag-free elastic, rustle the braid between your fingers to relax it even more. A slack braid tends to appear thicker than one that is taut.

Kerry Washington has been out and about much more than usual making the rounds to promote her hit show Scandal. When we saw these snaps of her on the red carpet at The Paley Center in New York she was sporting these fantastic subtle highlights. We love her use of colour to really make her hair pop!

Subtle, dark auburn curls are mixed in with her black hair and really add depth and interest to her curls. If you’re after this look we suggest going for a two tone wig (Sleek has a great one in Fashion Idol 101 Peaches) or trying to mix colours of weave together to get a similar effect.

We think this look is PERFECT for Autumn!

With the on and off weather of the UK, it’s hard to know what to do with your hair to ensure you avoid a gail-force makeover! Some parts of the world seem to be more fortunate, enjoying freakishly warm weather for the season, but you never know when that’s about to change. Here at Sleek we have rounded-up a selection of styles you can wear whatever the weather and still look sassy! So whether you’re staying in the UK or making trips around the world, we have a hairstyle for you – so why not take inspiration and ensure you look amazing whatever the weather!
When it’s just too hot to cope, or it’s super windy, why not try hair that is up and out of your face. Take a que from Lala Antony and Monica in their ever so trendy updo’s.

We’re huge fans of the topknot and it’s easy to do! Just add extensions for body, use a doughnut ring for structure. It can be worn either sleek and professional or textured and relaxed.
If you’re a low-maintenance lady why not try Rochelle Wiseman’s look and wear it in a textured ponytail or keep it sleek and trendy and do a side plait like Jennifer Hudson. These are the perfect styles for after work drinks when you’re too trusting of what the weatherman says.

Those of you that like volume, body and big curls no matter the weather why not try Queen Bey’s loose curls or Kim Kardashians long waves. The beauty of this style is that even if the wind blows it to within an inch of it’s life, you can tell everyone you were going for the relaxed, bed-head look!

If you’re planning on hitting the party season hard this year why not be brazen and add colour like our Rhianna or Nicki Minaj. It will turn heads and is easy to show off in even the simplest of styles.

Going on a date is always an exciting occasion to look forward to and a great reason to dress to impress! With the perfect outfit sorted it’s all about the hair, but what look should you go for? Want something with a little more edge? Why not try Kim Kardashian’s textured wrap around topknot. Simply attach our EZ ponytail twist the length of the hair until it starts to turn back on itself and pin into place.

Rihanna always makes a statement with her style. If you want to change your look to bag that boy, but you’re not willing to commit to it just yet, then try our Sleek Toni Wig.

LaLa Anthony is known for her long locks and bagging herself a baller! If you love the ombre trend and long luscious hair, then this is the look for you. Try it now with our Virgin Brazilian Hair.

If you like the LaLa Anthony option why not add a little more pizzazz with Leona Lewis’ full fringe.
